Sorry that it’s been so long since I’ve updated the journal.
The Place We All Go
As many of you know, I’ve finished the manuscript for The Place We All Go and it’s currently between the beta and editing process. Everything is a go for its upcoming release on 10/31/23.
Things to Know:
- The Place We All Go goes on Pre-Order starting on 8/31/2023.
- We will have a launch countdown all of October. It’s like the 25 days of Christmas only Halloween style.
- After a lot of research and months of debate, TPWAG will be on Kindle Unlimited. If you’re not on Kindle Unlimited and want to find out more about how KU works, head over to Amazon. It’s basically like Netflix for books. Monthly subscription, read all the books you want—including mine!
- I intend to have a launch day giveaway, swag, etc. that I hope will be super awesome. It will be livestreamed on Facebook and Youtube so make sure you bookmark your calendars!
The Nightmare Realm
With that being said, I’ve moved onto my new WIP, an urban dark fantasy called The Nightmare Realm. It’s the first book from my new (hopefully) 10-book series called The Dreamweaver Saga.
This is my new project that I’m working on since leaving Jesly, Jackson, and Kane behind. We’re now hanging out with Magdalena and her crew. Mags is a Dreamweaver who has the ability to control the Dreamscape and the Nightmare Realm.
Think of it like The Matrix meets Inception meets Labyrinth and you’ll get an idea of what’s coming around the bend. It’s due for a June 2024 release.
Horror Anthology
I am also slowly picking away at the creation of a short horror anthology that will be released for free unless it’s compiled into a complete edition.
Kindle Vella
I am also in the process of brainstorming a Kindle Vella series featuring my other new lead Harper. More on that coming once I finish this horror short.

I am currently in the process of rebranding across social media, so you will be able to find me across all platforms if you look up The Dark Mythologist.
My old handle blairblackmx is gone and all platforms should be rerouted, including this website, to magickandmythos.com.
